The nor’easter roars today, blowing wind and rain from the northeast just like its name.
It is an extratropical cyclone weather phenomenon, with cold air at its center, unlike a hurricane which is powered by warm air.
Celebrating Autumn
The light has changed, and the air is crisper most mornings. My hydrangeas turn a copper-colored pink as their blossoms dry. The mums in my garden are brilliant purples and yellows. In the woods. . .
